Talner Jewelers, located at 565 Main St. in New Rochelle since 1927, announced it would be holding a going-out-of-business sale on Monday, Nov. 11.

Since its opening nearly a century ago, the store has sold jewelry, giftware, and tableware in addition to offering repairs and resizing services.

Now though, the store's owners are preparing to begin the next part of their lives.

"The decision was not an easy one to make and is bittersweet," wrote the store's owner Brian Heaps on social media, also adding, "We are so pleased and proud to call so so many of our customers our friends and we, too, will miss you. It is the beginning of a new chapter of our lives."

Until the store closes (an actual closing date has not yet been specified), everything will be sold up to 70 percent off until all merchandise is gone.
